We just purchased our 2005 Alpine Limited 40' in Apr 11 and added a Subaru Forester with Blue Ox tow bar and face plate, with an SMI Duo (all self installed) as our towed vehicle. We've completed 8 days in the desert at Quartsite, AZ, with the Alpine Coach Association and are now cooling our heels at El Pueblo Mirage RV resort outside Phoenix. So far, we've only had minor issues (figuring out the RO system and a hot tire smell on the Subaru after driving it a while--not towing). What a great way to travel!
