New Member & 1st time diesel pusher owner

Hello All and thank you for the warm welcome. My husband and I recently purchased a 1992 Safari 36' diesel pusher, fixer-upper. Neither of us has owned a diesel anything before, let alone one this size, but after endless research, all pros & cons weighed, this was the motorcoach for us. We have spent the last two months working very hard on getting her "liveable" & "road ready" , with luck, we should be done in a couple of weeks. Truth is we have bicoastal grandchildren, two in Connecticut and two here in Southern California and planned on spending our time divided between the two coasts and looking forward to each visit. Now we are also looking forward to the journey, seeing this beautiful country of ours and meeting some of the people along the way. A new adventure for us, thanks to "da bus" (our nickname) Can you remember how you felt the last time you experienced something NEW? ... it's EXILERATING!!!
