New Member and new RVer

Hi All,

I've been lurking around for a little while trying to learn as much as I can before actually taking the plunge and purchasing an RV. The other day my family and I finally did it. We bought a Coachmen Freelander 32BH for myself, wife, and 3 kids (ages 5, 3, and 1). We're very excited and I am very excited to be here and am ready to learn more from you all. Hopefully at some point I'll be able to be a knowledgeable contributor and be able to help others who are as green as I am today.

Looking forward to fun and adventure!

Congrats and welcome to the forum. What type of TV do you have? Just remember that the main point is to have fun and enjoy time with the family. I spent over 30 years not doing that and now have the opportunity to enjoy a second family and go camping. In time you will have ample opportunity to contribute your experiences. That is how we learn.

Happy Trails

"Welcome to the Dark Side Young Luke SkyWalker, Welcome!"

Kidding, but this Fora is a wealth of information; questions I'd never even thought of are/have been/asked/are covered here.

Thank you all very much for the kind welcome and well wishes. My family and I are really looking forward to our adventures together and already have a couple of trips planned for later this summer/early fall with likely some quick weekend trips in between. If it were up to my 3 year old, I think we would be full timers as every day she asks where the RV is :-)
