New Member and new to the RV world

So let me introduce myself and let you know how I found this group. I'm Mark from deep South Texas, have always wanted an RV so that we could travel once I retire. Living in South Texas, I would always see the nice RVs coming once the winter months started pounding the north.
Many years later I finally broke down and purchased a used 2005 Four Winds Infinity motorcoach. It was from an estate and only had 18k miles on it. It's gas, but I can live with that. The unit has two slide outs and plenty of room for my wife and I and our two dogs. So I have slowly been buying and replacing worn out parts. Long story short, we have finally decided to make our maiden voyage in a couple of weeks and I blew out one of the living room hydraulic slides, so only one side retracts now. After reading many of the forums, I have reached out to AZPETE to help me identify what system I have and how to remove the darn thing so that I can get it rebuilt.
Well that's my new adventure to the RV world, not letting this get me down, I'm sure there will be many more adventures.
Oh yea, I am a proud U.S. Air Force veteran, Desert Shield/Storm era. No I didn't fly planes, I was a photojournalist.
