New member and new to truck campers

I look forward to learning a lot from all of you. I checked this site out several times while I was looking for my camper so I know how knowledgeable may of you are.

My camper is a 2011 Travel Lite with a popup camper on a short bed F 250. The truck has been beefed up to handle the load and, hopefully, handle some rougher back roads in comfort.

Right now I'm fixing it up for a fall maiden voyage and have one issue:

I love all of it EXCEPT the height over the bed. I can barely turn over without hitting my head and getting out is a real challenge. I have been told that there are kits to increase the lift. Can anyone help me with that or give me guidance on a diy solution? I appreciate the help!

Hi Roger,

Welcome to the forum. Have you entered your subject in the "search Engine" on this site? Might be the best way to get an answer. Also, look around through the choice at the top of the page and see if you can find it there.

Otherwise, someone will come along and have an answer.
