Look forward to all of the information from you veteran rv'ers. We just bought our 1st rv. It is a 2012 Thor Four Winds 23' Class C. We should be getting it next week. We are veteran tent campers and boaters so we decided to upgrade to rv'ing. We don't know anyone who owns an rv so this is the place for me. I have to admit, i am a little nervous of the thought of driving the rv with a 22' boat in tow and trying to launch at the boat ramp. All advice is welcome.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new rig! You've come to the right place so don't be shy about posting questions or joining in on discussions! The intimidation of driving a long rig will subside as you gain experience. Just make sure you've got good hand signals worked out with whoever is going to be helping you back up and you'll do fine.

Best of luck...

Rick

Congrats on your purchase! A rear view camera may help launching that boat.

Welcome Team 007doc, glad you could join us. About that boat launching thing, be very careful. Some of these ex-water people, like Seajay, can give you some good advice on these boat matters.

On our first RV ( 81 Titan ) we put a hitch on the front end and one on the back ( big into scuba diving back then) we would tow our boat to the lakes then unhook and hook to front made it super easy to put in and take out plus the rear wheels never got wet so traction wasn't an issue.
