Hello all

Lexie and I currently have a 1984 Bluebird Wanderlodge PT 40. We have 2 grown kids and 4 grand kids in or around Ft Worth TX. We are in GA about an hour and half south of the ATL airport and about an hour from Columbus. Lexie is on SSA disability I was medically retired from Civil Service May 2005. Have not worked since. I am always doing something on the bird or maybe I am watching my 19 year old assistant that does not mind getting dirty.

We have several projects for the bird. Repairing a damaged engine bay door and rear bumper (working)from where I did not pull forward enough after getting fuel. Repower remove Detroit 6v92 silver 330hp and an Allison 654 trany to an Allison MH 3000 6 speed. Paint complete coach and change interior colors to match new paint . New awnings. Installing a 37 LG LCD flat screen, home theater and a mini Dell desk top using the TV as the monitor.

Hi all, new to this forum but not to camping. Started in cub scouts inthe 1950, been camping ever since. Our first was a '89 32ft Southwind we bought to see if we enjoyed that form of camping after 25+ years in a tent camper. After 5 years of the SW and 65-70 thousand miles we graduated to # 2,a mountain aire that was bad news so in 2005, we bought our current southwind 37C. Travels include several trips out west, several to Myrtle Beach. 25 trips in the tent camper and 5 with the MH. 2000 was best. 4 months across thr US, Canada, Alaska, the inland waterway, and home to upstate NY. Alaska cannot be putinto words. Now we belong to 2 FMCA chapters which takes care of many great summer weekends, regional and national FMCA conventions and winters in the warmer-sunny south. My wildest dreams of younger days did not imagine the pleasure my wife,Alice and I enjoy today. Happy travelin' Fred
