New Member Checking In

Hello all! Been driving A and C RVs for friends for years, but just bought our first very own. Since I'm a new owner, and don't really know much more than what is necessary to travel (drive and maintain while driving), I told the wife that I wanted to be conservative. We really wanted to go DP, and found a beauty for the same same price of our purchase, but I told that wife that until I knew that the RV lifestyle was for us, and until I became a seasoned owner, I didn't want the extra cost of ownership and maintenance associated with DPs. While I'm fully retired from a full time job, I went back to work, so we both are currently employed full time. Since this is our first, we both feel that we'll probably be looking to trade up in about 5 years anyway. Our MH... 2012 Thor Hurricane 32A.

Great forum!!!

Howdy and welcome to the forum. Congrats on the new Thor! We also bought a gasser as our first RV, since we wanted to buy new and didn't want to spend the $$ for a diesel. We are "vacationers", so the gasser suits us fine.

DeWat, Welcome to the forum and congrats on the MH. My guess is you'll upgrade in less than 5 years. Enjoy your new ride...
