New Member checking in
My wife and I just purchased a 2004 Dutch Star 41' with Cummins 370. We are about to take our first small trip, actually very close to where we live, (Rochester, NH) just to try out everything at a Camp Ground. We hope to be flat towing a Jeep Wrangler! Nervous but excited!

First trip? How long have you been RV'n. You bought a nice coach so go enjoy.

P.S. I've owned 7 corvettes over the years starting with a 63 split window and ending with an 86 convertible.

New Solo
Although our first trip will be Labor Day, we have never been to a camp ground with an RV. We have been looking for a Class A Motorhome for about two years, and checked out just about everything in the Class A Category. We have had the DS for about 4 months, and I have been taking some driving lessons with a Professional Driver. I have watched every RV Video especially RV Geeks and have found that to be very helpful.
The idea was to have my wife and I retire in September, but she wasn't quite ready. She lowered her hours to 32 and have about 8 weeks total time per year. The bigger question will be how much time her employer will allow her to take off at any given time? Still checking on that, so it will be short trips for a while.

Congrats on the new rig! Keep her between the ditches!
