Hello all,

My name is Norm, my wife is Diana. We live in Grand Ledge, Michigan. We're in our late 50s and both retired. We always wanted to travel when we retired and now that is possible. We definitely needed to upgrade for more space, so we sold our 21' 5th wheel that we had for 19 years, and was great when we had kids home, (and Chevy diesel truck!) and bought a 98 Newmar Dutch Star, 38'. It may be a little older but it's an extremely well cared for coach. Plenty of room for us and our three cats. After some work we knew it needed, it runs and drives like a dream and everything works

We're currently on our maiden voyage and so far so good! It's great having all this space, it's close to being home. Still getting used to things and making a list of items to add to the motorhome permanently.

I'm glad to join the forum and have had some friendly hellos already from a couple posts I made - thanks for the warm welcome

I've attached a picture of our coach when we bought it and one from yesterday where we are camping, which is Fort Custer state park.

Norm

Looks like our 2000 3865 that we ordered. Ours had the whitewashed interior finish.

Ours has the blond wood finish also! The dining room table was pretty scratched up so my wife sanded and refinished it - looks like new now
