New Member First Time RV

Hi All:

We live in Bellevue, WA. My wife and I decided to switch from boating to RVing. We just purchased a 2005 Travel Supreme 42, 4 slides, 8k miles, 400 ISL, tag axle, large solar and lots of goodies.

So far we drove it 5 hours to Oregon for some updating. We are having some new carpeting installed and making it ours in Junction City OR. Have had a very good experience working with Kustom Coach Works there.

Just bought a 2010 CRV to use as our tow vehicle. The towing and brake gear is being installed at a shop in Sumner. Got a little worried when they called to say they accidentally hit the car's brake booster while drilling in the fire wall...they will pay for fix.

I spent a little time reading some of the posts and saw some helpful posts.

I am still working so we are looking for some good local spots to explore this summer.

We look forward to meeting some of you soon!

Welcome from the "top left-hand corner". There's a good big-rig oriented campground on the east side of town, just off SR20-Spur., called Fidalgo Bay Resort. It's waterfront, looking north towards the San Juans and is owned and operated by the Swinomish Tribe.

Since it's only 12 miles from home, we've never stayed there, but we know several people with rigs similar size to yours who like it. Might be a good shake-down cruise, close enough to home to go back for stuff you forgot.

welcome to the forum....DW and I did the same thing...sold the boat and bought the 5er. And we are much happier touring around the country side.
