New Member from Anchorage, AK

Howdy folks!

My wife and I purchased our first RV back in November and have been enjoying it ever since. We live in Anchorage, AK but are currently in Los Angeles for some time with my job.

Rig is a 2008 Winnebago Voyage 35A on the W24 Chassis. We bought it one-owner with 9k miles, have really enjoyed it so far.

Family consists of my wife and I, our 5 week old little boy, and Max the Golden Retriever. We were grounded for the last 8 weeks having the little guy, but we're headed back out for a long weekend on Thursday, not sure which direction we're headed yet.

Look forward to getting involved on the forum and hopefully meeting some other members at some point.

BTW, we've been in SoCal since last July but had never spent any time here before. We try to get out most weekends so suggestions on 2-3 day trips from LA are much appreciated. Here's where we have been so far...

- Indio - Motorcoach country club (multiple times)
- Huntington Beach - Bolsa Chica
- Malibu
- Santa Barbara - Ocean Mesa
- Jalama Beach
- Three Rivers - Sequoia RV Ranch
- Bakersfield - Orange Grove RV

- Chris, Jenni, Henry and Max

And a few pics from the trips so far...

Wow beautiful Rig

Henry and Max are beautiful also. I've had Golden Retrievers and I hope you have a good vacuum system in there

Enjoy and safe travels.

Welcome to all including the beautiful boy and a wonderful looking Golden Retriever. If you get a chance go to San Simeon and take the Hurst Castle Tour and view the Elephant Seals just North of the Castle on Hwy 1.

Hi and

Drove my MH out of Anchorage in November for the warmer weather of the lower 48.

Normally drive back up about this time of year but instead heading to CA for 3 months. Been in Texas for the past month, I sure miss the cooler weather of Anchorage.

Based on wife's desires we may just stay in the lower 48 for a while.
