Great forum you guys have going here. I'd been camping and Rving for many years but sold my last trailer a few years back for various reasons. I've rented a couple of times a year since that time. I recently got back into it in 2011 with the purchase of an Earthbound, 29' Copper Mountain trailer. I'm looking forward to getting out again in 2012 and plan to use it for at least 30 to 40 days this year.
Anyway, great to be aboard and looking forward to participating, being helped and helping out where I can.
Darrel

There are lots of Canucks in RVng from BC & Ontario, but I think you're the first mountaineer from the great province of Alberta, that I know of; or are you a flatlander??

ACK! Flatlanders are from Saskatchewan! Welcome Darrel from another Albertan, just north of you in Didsbury. Looking forward to ALL this snow leaving and the parks opening and hitting the high roads for the summer-hope to meet you out there sometime, just look for the 88 chieftain with the 2 Newfoundlands and a Golden, that'll be us LOL

Thanks for the welcome everyone! Butterbean, I can see the mountains from my house window. A short drive to great campsiites and boondocking although I'll also be travelling stateside, West into B.C. and north into the Territories this year if the stars line up.

Good guess. I lived in Okotoks for 15 years before moving into Calgary 5 years ago. For those who don't know, Okotok is Blackfoot for "Big Rock" as one of the world's largest glacial erratics sits in a field outside Okotoks, a huge quartz boulder that travelled from Jasper during the last ice age.
I Haven't been to Hogg Parck specifically but have been in and around the Longview and Kananaskis areas extensively. Love Bluerock Creek for camping.
