Hello All,

I am from Corpus Christi, TX and we just recently bought our first RV back in the begining of August. "We" consists of my wife, 10yr old son, 6 yr old daughter, two dogs, and myself.

Our new (to us) RV is a 1994 28' Georgie Boy Swinger motorhome. We love it !!

Since the kids are in school, we make our camping trips on the weekends and within 2 hrs from home. We also made a plan of going camping at least once a month.

We have stayed at the following places since getting the rig in August:

RV Ranch - Burelson,TX ( 1 night )
Drifters RV Park - Rockport,TX (Weekend)
Goliad State Park - Goliad,TX (Weekend)

We have reservations for the weekend of Nov. 17 - 19 at Lake Texana State Park in Edna, TX.

We are also going to make reservations for the week of Christmas, yup we're going camping for X-Mas from Dec. 22 - 28 !!! ....... we just don't know where exactly to go yet, it has to be within about 2hrs from home so that does not leave a whole lot of choices.

One of the BIGGEST problems we are having so far is finding a family oriented camping group near us. There are some up in North Texas near Dallas, some near Houston, also near San Antonio, ect. but so far it seems nobody is from our area (Corpus Christi).

Sorry for my long ramblings, but....
