We (wife and I) recently traded our 5th wheel for a class A, 2003 Winnebago Journey DL (330 Cat). We started with a pop-up in 1977. The last 30 years have been with 2 tag-along's and then the 32 foot Newmar 5th wheel, which we've had since 2000. All have been new until we acquired this used DP. We traded our 2000 F350 diesel pickup for a 2010 Honda CRV, which is our toad.

The transition to the used DP has not been easy, dealing with someone else's choices of colors and features, and trying to learn how all the systems work. We bought it from a Monaco/Tiffin dealer who didn't have all the documentation I need. It has 70,000 mines on it.

I have been getting some good help from the RV.net forums, and was trying to find a Winnebago-only forum, when I came across this one. I have lots of questions to ask, so you'll be hearing from me soon. Thanks in advance for any help I may recieve. ......Doug

Your story sounds like that of most of us. Started small and each succesive rig kept getting bigger. We're about to take delivery of our first DP, next week.

Check in often, and keep us up to date on your adventures.

"We bought it from a Monaco/Tiffin dealer who didn't have all the documentation"

You might contact your local Winnebago dealer and request the owners (and other) manual(s) for your unit. If you don't have a local dealer, the Winnebago website has a link that will point you to the closest one.
