Hi, RV'ers!

My husband and I are semi-retired, love camping/rv'ing, in our "older" model Winnebago Vectra (1997), and hopefully one day to "downsize" into something smaller --- but until that happens (economy!!) we're still using our Vectra for "close by" camping outings. We pull a toad --- 2007 Saturn VUE, which tows very nicely! We've graduated from 2 pop-ups, a 26 ft. travel trailer, and now THIS CLASS A!! All within 15 years! Our next RV "might" be a Fifth Wheel....depending on our budget of course.

This summer in Florida has been VERY hot, and even us "natives" are feeling the heat! Where we live (on east coast), we usually have a breeze that blows all the time, and makes the extreme temperatures bareable in the summertime.....but not this year.....the breezes have decided they are 'taking a holiday', also....

As any RV'er knows, the older the unit/coach the more "age related" things will go wrong.....well, right after we got this unit (3 years ago), we started replacing, repairing all the "old age" stuff imaginable!! BUT it still runs good, and looks super!! (except for a little oxidation on outside). This has been a discouraging thing to my husband, and of course we didn't plan on spending so much money to NOT to go anywhere, hardly! ha....oh well, such as life....

ANYWAY, hopefully we'll find out some good things and ideas on this forum, that will help us get over the "bumps" of owning a Class A. I've been told there are OTHERS who have all the same problems that we do! (That's good to know).

I'm going to ask a question over on the WINNEBAGO Forum, so see ya soon!
Sharon/Karl

THANK YOU for all of your "welcome messages"!! I agree this is a great site, have been browsing it, for the past 2 days, and have found so much information and friendly folks, too! Well, with that said, aren't us "Rv'ers" friendly to each other anyway? Ha...

That's what we like about camping ---- you meet some very nice people along the way and always willing to lend a hand!

THANKS for the welcome! Sharon/karl
