Hi everyone! My wife and I have been into camping for a long time, we are in our mid fifties, kids all grown up with families of their own. For the last few years we have enjoyed our small but sufficient 22Ft. TT. We usually camp at our local lake, or within 50 miles or so from home. For the last 2 years we have been thinking about going bigger as we camp about every weekend from spring til the snow flies. Last fall we started shopping to get some ideas of what we require. Well as everyone knows, once the shopping starts, it's not to long before you find something you like and take the plunge. A couple weekends ago we went to a large dealer and looked around, found one that fit our needs, set up perfectly for us for the way we will use it, and at a great price. So- last weekend after much thought we went back and pulled our new TT home. It is a 2010 30 ft. Puma rear kitchen with a super slide. Lots of room, great counter space and storage. Since we camp so close to home, I,m sure that we will be spending much more than weekends at the lake! After purchasing, I was looking at "camper stuff" and came across this site. Nice site with lots of info.

Congratulations on the purchase of your new rig. We had a 28ft TT and we found that rig to be pretty nice however having a slideout in it would have been much better. Towing a 30 should not be too challenging for most 3/4T pickup trucks or HD vans.
Please feel welcomed here and do come back to post and visit us often!

No, We camp at the Pittsfield city lake just east of town, two very nice, very well maintained campgrounds, complete with clean shower house/restrooms, water and electric $11.00 per day. The lake is 200 acres + or minus, great fishing and very pretty. the camp grounds are snuggled on the west side of the lake amongst mature oaks and hickorys. And most of all very friendly people ! Come see us sometime at Lake Pittsfield! Very nice campgrounds for $11.00 bucks a day.
