Hi,

I am picking up my first RV next week. My wife and I are about 3 years from retirement and are giving the Class A thing a trial. We found a 2000 Bounder gas for a sweet price.

We have been pop-up camping for a long time but think the RV life is the way we want to retire.

Be patient with my stupid questions please!!!

Welcome! Congratulations on the acquisition of the coach. A popular model.

Safety first. Have you checked the manufacture date of the tires? If not please do so and plan accordingly.

I did check the date they were made in November of 2008, I will replace next year sometime but they have very good tread and no cracking I can see.

Yep, know exactly where that is. We're from Waldorf, and have been fulltiming nearly 5yrs. now. We're in FL. currently, but have to be back in Waldorf in June for our grandaughter's wedding.

We just sold our 2005 Gulfstream Super C and bought a 2009 Tiffin Phaeton 36 QSH. We were members of the Kodiak super C group and found it very helpful. I'm hoping this group can help with the many questions I'm going to have, many more bells and whistles to figure out on this one.
