Really glad to see another Southerner. These dang Yankees have us outnumbered! Have fun and keep her between the ditches!
Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Will you live in GA and take occasional rv trips or fulltime?

Take monthly trips with Good Sam club. I'm the wagon master. Haven't been able YET to convince wife to full time. BUT I think I'm getting close.

Looking at Georgia
My wife and I grew up and live in Seattle. We are leaving Seattle for a retirement area in the SE. Athens GA is in the list. Where would be the best place/area in GA to retire? We are looking for a low cost of living with plenty of fishing around.

Welcome to Georgia on your trip. Elberton is not that far from Clayton/Lakemont. Enjoy your trip. If you get a little further North, (Clayton, Ga) stop by the Habitat for Humanity Restore. I manage the store when not on the road.

Athens is OK if you don't mind the traffic and hustle and bustle of a college town. University of Georgia. Now not far from there is Lake Oconee. Great place, we have a home base on lake thru Travel Resorts of America for rving. I would also suggest maybe up here in Clayton or Lakemont, Ga. GREAT fishing on all 3 lakes and a great people community atmosphere. Very reasonable retirement area. My wife and I retired here 10 years ago from Miami/Ft Lauderdale, Fl, by way of Atlanta, Ga. Small town people. Great boating, fishing and camping area. If you get to the Clayton area in your travels and searches, look me up at the Habitat for Humanity Restore. I manage it when not on road.
