Cool New member from N.J.

Hi, I'm happy I found this site. I have been camping for many years starting in tents then in small travel trailers and finally in a 5th wheel. Well we only had 3 weekends in our new fiver before my husband passed away 18months ago. Last month I was feeling sorry for myself listening to my kids making their camping arrangements so I wondered up to Camping World and, low and behold, I found a 24ft BT Cruiser. Now I am feeling so happy and even a new sense of freedom. It's just me and my dogs, but we are happy. I have only used it twice when the kids were there, but I did it all by myself, except for having my son in law guide me into my site. I'm still not to sure of myself when it comes to backing it up.

Carol, Sorry to hear of your loss, but congrats on your new BT Cruiser. Also welcome to a friendly and informative forum. You will get better at backing up as you do it more often, however you should always have someone watch behind as you backup. Any camper will help you, if you ask. Better safe than sorry. If you need any help on here, just ask also. Good luck and enjoy.... John H...

I'm also sorry to hear about loss! I am happy to hear that you've made the decision to get back out there to enjoy camping once again.

We're in Bridgewater and have been going up to Kymers Campground in Branchville. We get the same site each time because it backs up to a really nice stream which our Springer really appreciates. The sites are nicely shaded so they remain fairly cool in the heat of the day. Try it, you might like it there as much as we do.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I hope you enjoy your BT Cruiser. My first Motorhome was a 24Ft BT Cruiser with a slide. I had it for a couple of years and had a terrific time with it. I used it to take my parents to Florida for vacation (used it as a bus). My daughter and her family started RVing with us and it got small real fast when she had our Granddaugter. Enjoy your new Motorhome.

Hi Carol, My condolences for your loss. Welcome aboard and congratulations on starting anew with your new BT Cruiser. 24 ft is a nice size and in time you'll get used to backing it up. I believe you'll find IRV2 to be the friendliest forum on the internet so feel free to join in any discussion. BTW what kind of dogs do you have? Photos are nice (hint)
