Hello, Just joined this group and looking forward to the interaction this group offers. We recently retired and purchased a 2016 Fleetwood Bounder 33C the end of August and took it for a 41 day trip through nine states. After getting back home we took it to a local shop for minor repairs, maintenance, etc. We're now looking at getting an extended warranty for it. Any advice or guidance would be appreciated to help us make a decision on who to go with.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Congrats on the new Bounder! I'm not a fan of extended warranties on RV's. I think that in most cases you would be better off to put that same amount of money into a special bank account to be used only for repairs. Those companies leave themselves too many loopholes to get out of paying your claims! JMHO

Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Welcome to the forum and congrats on the new rig.

You are joining a good group of folks here with good info to share. I think most folks will tell you not to purchase an extended warranty but rather put that money aside and save it should you need a major repair down the road.

Good luck and continue to enjoy the adventure!
