New member from NW Florida.

I have been wanting to do this for a long time and decided to keep my eye out for a deal. After 10 months of looking I have taken on a project that is going make wonderful memories for me, or make me curse the day I signed the bill of sale. We will just have to see. I am looking forward to meeting all of you on the forum or potentially in person. So far I have gathered some great info on here and am looking forward to possibly contributing with some of the upcoming restoration experiences. Tight lines to all (as we say along the Gulf Coast). HH

PS My new project is a one owner 32’ Hawkins Motor Coach with very low miles.

Good going Head Hunter and welcome. You'll have lots of fun ahead, perhaps some headaches but for the most part a learning curve with memories. The best of luck.

Thanks everyone for all the kind words. It's a 1989. I am so impressed with the quality of the whole rig (including the driver and passenger entry doors); I have to agree that this should be a real pleasure to bring her back. Can't wait to get started. One of the first funny stories about this is the owner didn't like the color of the carpet and about 4 years ago (last time it was on a trip) had the carpet replaced. The laugh is that they were color blind and installed purple carpet instead of blue (as seen in a few of the pics). Guess the laughs on me, as this will be changed out as soon as the interior is scrubbed and refurbished. The following are some more pics. These are from the day it was towed to my office and driven to the back just as it was purchased before any cleaning started. Thanks again and will keep you posted. HH
