New Member from NY

Hi Everyone!
My wife, Dar and I are new retirees from NY. Upstate, not the city. We are going into our second season and are still pretty new to the whole RV life. Right now we're pretty much weekenders and the occasional " weekers". Due to family ties, we don't really see the full time thing happening soon. But hope to be spreading further this season. (Yes, in NY we have a "season") . Look forward to hanging out here and getting all the information the seasoned pros have to offer. Thanks.

Welcome to IRV2 & retirement!

Watkins Glen is a gorgeous park, close-ish if you haven’t been. And the Laurel Highlands in PA make another nice trip for you. Where are some of your upcoming trips?

So far we have planned one in Eastern Michigan at the end of June to see friends. Over the rest of the season we hope to head South and West to see places we've never been, which is quite a few. At this point, we've only been in campgrounds with full, or almost full hookups but we plan on doing some short term dry camping (overnights), so I'll be back looking for advice on how to do so.
Thanks for the welcome!

Welcome from a fellow Upstater on the western side of the state. Enjoy and ask questions. Lots of good info available for the asking.
