New Member from Salem, Oregon

Just purchased my first RV and excited to become an RV'r. Bought a vintage Winnebego Chieftan that looks like it was kept in a time capsule. 39K on the chev 454 and 59 hours on the generator, interior all kept under covers! All regular maintenance, newer tires, brakes, belts, etc. Almost new fridge. Everything else original OEM. Was able to find one that was neihter mauve (rose) or light blue (those are nice colors but not my favorites) It's a nice neutral light mocha brown. Will post some pics in a bit. Having an awning installed before I pick it up.

Sheesh,,,,,this is all risky but fun. I will enjoy the forum learning all about RVs. I'm on an auto forum and thoroughly enjoy it. Hope to live in the Winne for a year before moving out of state. Thanks for reading my post.

Hello and welcome to irv2 Gary G.

Sounds like you are in for some fun times with your new vintage RV.
Maybe we will cross paths when we stay near Salem this coming June.

Have fun and good luck!

Nice to see someone who found something in such nice shape. I'm sure that you'll have many good times in that. Be sure to post some pictures I'd love to see that. Safe travels and trouble free.

Geeze Gary, That coach looks showroom fresh inside and out. You should be able to get many fun filled campouts in that rig. Oh and WELCOME to the forum.
