Hello everyone.

First we are not new to RV'ing, we have had a fifth wheel and F-250 combo for about ten years but we felt it was time to trade in for a motor home. We just purchased a new Newmar 3650 Canyon Star "Canny" and have made two quick local trips just to check everything out. So far, so good, only one minor mechanical issue and two minor operator errors (as our service tech pointed out to us!) We have already started planning a few road trips, one to Washington DC in June, the UP of Michigan in July and then off the Albuquerque Balloon Festival in October, with a smattering of shorter trips in between.

We live just outside of San Antonio, Texas so from here to anywhere is a long way but we are really looking forward to the travels.

If anyone has any suggestions on what enhancements or improvements that we could do to make our life and Canny's life more enjoyable please let us know. Or if you have any great suggestions for stops along the way on our upcoming trips let us know that as well.

Thanks for any helpful insight.

Welocme aboard! If California is in the cards, I recommend the central portion - Pismo, Arroyo Grande, Oceano, Avila Beach...

I live in Houston but travel between there and San Antonio on a regular basis. We are having a Memorial Day rally at Alamo Fiesta RV Resort in Boerne and you should come over to say "Hi" to a bunch of the Texas Boomers. Check it out here: 15th ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION RALLY.
