Hello fellow campers,
Wanted to introduce myself to this forum. My wife and I bought our 1995 Fleetwood Flair last November. Long story short..............I retired back in 2009 and we planned to do a lot more traveling, so I bought a twenty foot travel trailer (picture inclosed) to use instead of staying in a Hotel. We used the TT once over the Thanksgiving Holiday down in Gulfport, Mississippi, and then I decided to go back to work and we never used it again and sold it. Now fast forward to October of last year; we took our youngest daughter's family to the NASCAR race at Talladega. We stayed at a Hotel in Birmingham so we had to drive to the track and each time we would pass all the folks camping around the race track and my wife kept saying "why didn't we keep the TT, so we could stay and play here"? As I was no longer working I started looking for a little bigger Motorhome and found this 26 foot Flair in St. Louis, and we got to used it for our 2011 Thanksgiving Holiday trip down to Gulfport, Mississippi as well as for Christmas with the kids down in Georgia.
Anyway, I'm a DYI kind of guy and I like making my own 'mods', so I've found that the 'forums' are the best resources for ideas and information. I look forward to sharing some of my ideas and thoughts with ya'll.
By the way our grandson gave us the perfect name for our Motorhome.... ouRVee!
C'ya,
Patrick

Hi Patrick, welcome to the forum. Congratulations on you new Flair. How about a picture of it? Where do stay when you're down Gulfport?

Hello 'historyljc', my wife is from Gulfport and most of her family lives there or around there. I meet her while I lived there back in the late 70's. We hope to move back to Gulfport when my wife retires in a few years. Haven't taken very many pictures yet but here is a basic one.
C'ya,
Patrick

Hi Patrick! Welcome to IRV2! We're really glad to have you join the bunch here! Congrats on the new TT! If you're ever in the Columbus area when you come to MS, give us a call. We've got a great COE campground here, Dewayne Hayes, right on the Tenn Tom Waterway. Good luck & God bless!
