Hi folks, Just checking in the NOOB thread first. My wife and I are looking at buying a used 2004 Monaco Cayman. It will be our first motorhome. Any pointers would be great. Thanks,

Va. Ron,
About buying a motorhome: take your time, Shop, Shop, ask tons of questions. Double check everything (info) you get from a dealer or seller. Try an talk with the last owner. Consider children, grand children, pets, length of time you will be on each trip. MOST IMPORTANT - take the boss with you every time.
This site has lots of information to help..
Good luck........

Welcome to the gang, Ron! Glad you two decided to join. Wagonmaster1's advice is on target. It takes time to cover the bases, but it's worth it. If you haven't already found it, there's a menu option at the top of these web pages called "Owners Forums." There's a group there for Monaco. Also, there are search options on most of these pages (usually in the upper right section). You can search the entire site and you can search within a specific forum/topic. Good luck with your search!

Welcome and good luck in your search. Great info and help on this forum. I have learned a lot here. Also, Mal is correct on your personal property tax bill. Still reeling from the check I sent Chesterfield County.
