New member from WI

I'm a new member from Wausau, Wisconsin. I have been camping my whole life, and the woman who is now my wife used to hate camping until we bought the camper off of Craigslist in 2012. We got 5 or 6 times a year including a full week in the middle of the summer with my family. We are now thinking of buying a new camper because our 2012 camper was actually a 1997 and it is a little worse for wear.

All in all, I think the Craigslist camper was very good for us. I was able to make a lot of newbie mistakes with it.☺

Happy camping!

Welcome, I was a lurker for years before joining, now I check the forums daily just to keep up on things.

Grew up in Rhinelander but have lived in East TN since 1981. We go back north about every 2 years, probably will make a trip this year.

Sounds like you started out right, we migrated from tent camping, to Suburban, to Class C and now own a Class A. It would be difficult to go back as the Class A has enough space for me an my wife to go on extended trips and never feel really cramped.

Take your time and decide what you want. Once you narrow down the choices you can find you dream RV, whatever that is.

Good Luck
