Good Morning, My partner and I have made the decision to tour this great country of ours in a MH (16 Challenger 37GT) expect delivery end of March. We recently reconstructed a 1960 ranch house adding 1200' in a mid century modern style (a Palm Springs style). Since we are adventure and project oriented, after living in our dream home for two years we are ready for a new adventure! I have some experience, toured the US in a Dodge pop up van in the early 70's (11 mos.) and then had a 1976 GMC Eleganza in the late 70's after settling in Boulder CO (taking 7 to 15 day trips in the west for 3 yrs). Now we are both retired (retired auto exec and boutique hotel GM) and plan to take many short shake down trips for 4 months (knowing we will have some issues to work out and also have a big learning curve) before going FT for at least 1.5 to 2 yrs (TBD). BTW we are in our mid sixties and in great health, together for 20+ yrs and legally married since Dec 2013! Looking forward to the advice, experience and help from all of the great members of iRV2 (know we will need it)! We chose the 37GT because of its floor plan (large galley and bath). Went with gas as we feel we will only drive about 8 - 15 hrs a mo but will live in it over 700 hrs. Our toad will be a 2015 Jeep Renegade on a dolly. My other half will now say TMI!

Congrats and welcome to the forum. Look through old threads here about anything you want to learn. There is a lot of good info here. Just put a subject in the search engine and read.
