New Member--Happy Seneca Owner

Hi All, I just wanted to share some of my rving experience. I took delivery of my 2007 Jayco Seneca GS35 in Oct. 2006. I made an excellent deal with Camper Corral in Jackson, Ms. area. My wife and i had planned on buying a RV for years but never believed we could buy new and order what we wanted. We added a few options like cherry cabinets, 7.5kw diesel genset, over head queen bed in lieu of the entertainment center, in-motion satelite. After taking delivery--i had a few issues. The GS35 came with the 15k springs--i contacted Jayco and they paid to change out to 19.5k springs, i also had the front tires trued and balanced, also had drawers sliding out and dealer fixed that. The springs and truing and balancing the front tires solved all my handling problems. Jayco was very good in taking care of the few issues i had and i am happy with Jayco.
We now have 25,000. miles logged and have really enjoyed every trip.We have made three trips out west to Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks logging over 5,000 miles each trip. We tow a 2003 Chevy Trailblazer and average 10mpg whether mountain driving or flat. We live near Jackson, Ms. We are impressed with the Jayco and that diesel pulling power--rarely downshifts in the mountains--we normally run 62-63mph--that seems to be the best for us. I am a coffee drinker and i can drive the Jayco with one hand while sipping coffee--the only way to go!!
So--just wanted to say i am a happy Jayco owner and happy with the factory service. Looking foward to many more years of the rving experience and in the meantime enjoying the Forum. Thanks for reading this long post.

Happy trails!
