New member happy to find iRV2!

I posted on an old thread, but realized most people probably will never see that post.

So, let me say here that I am so very happy to have found iRV2. My partner (DW) of 19 years and I have been campers/RVers forever and anticipate jumping in to full-timing in a year and a half. We'll purchase a Class C MH in the 30' range in the spring of 2015. (Our most recent "RV" was a 26' Trail Lite TT with one slide.)

Our plan is to tour the country in the span of one year, then decide if we want to continue life on the road. It's been my dream for a long time. We'll see how DW likes it and go from there!

I read the pages of responses to a post by a fellow named Michael who talked about RVing FT with his partner. I was so moved by the warm, accepting things folks said to Michael that I knew I wanted to join this group. I'm not na´ve enough to thank that we will be warmly welcomed by everyone in the RVing community, but I do believe that we will be received as warmly as the warmth and friendliness we extend to others.

You'll be welcomed at our campfire as long as you bring your camp stool and a smile. And, if you like, you can join me in some good old campfire songs or maybe some oldies music from the 50s and 60s. I've played guitar for 49 years and my favorite "venue" is still around a campfire under a canopy of stars.

May your travels be safe, your camping experiences blessed and your friendships enriching.

Mel

Great to have you with us. I'd watch out on the invites to sign though, some of us ( myself included) couldn't carry a tune in a bucket.
My DW, says I sing in the key of H, at least it sounds like H.

Ok, you made me laugh out loud. Just bring your camp stool. You can leave your tune in your bucket back at your campsite. ;-)

Sounds like a good handle on your plan Mel.
I'll join your campfire with my two buddies, Jack and Ice. I'll leave the singing to the those that can.

Those that "can" will make up the band. Those that "can't" will make up the audience and can dance, tend the campfire, and enjoy the music!
