Hi All! I have been lurking in the forum for a month or so now and decided it would be a good time to formally join the fray. My family just purchased a 2017 Thor Four Winds 30D as our first RV and are working through the learning curve. Glad to see that this community is as friendly as the folks we meet in the “real world” when camping. Hoping to learn a lot here! Currently trying to figure out how I can let my youngsters watch TV while rolling down the road—who knew that would be an issue? Anyway, looking forward to interacting here!

Welcome to the forum. I'm sure we can help with the TV issue. Go to the RV Systems and Appliances section and start a thread .

Congrats on the new rig! Keep her between the ditches!

First off congrats on the new coach. First rule is enjoy, 2nd rule do over on first rule.
We have a Thor Challenger 37TB specifically to accommodate up to 5 grandkids. We have routinely vacationed with 3-5 of them for 1.5 - 2 months per summer for the last 4 years. We truly prefer the kids learn and watch the USA go by while sitting on the sofa in our coach. BUT understand that after 30-45 days, burnout sets in on even the most porous minds. So we have lots of DVDs, Redbox or wifi devices (Firestick TV or Apple TV) on each of the 5 TVs. TV slides out to be viewable from the sofa or dinette - kids are happy and Mammaw and Pappaw are happy.
Note: we have Verizon Unlimited specifically to accommodate the wifi devices.
Hope this helps and again - enjoy!!
