I have had so much fun just reading posts that I thought it was about time to stop stalking and start participating. I have been camping for about 4 years. Started out in a 10 year old Winnebago Brave. We loved her and she was good for us. It was sorta our test RV. Then I decided that we needed a slide and a newer model. So got an Itasca Sunstar. Loved it. But, now I have a permanent spot at a campground that we love. So last month went with a new Open Range 5th wheel. I am so happy. It is like going to a condo for the weekend. I see you're from Westerville. I'm from right up the road near Lewis Center. I'm sure you're finding you've got a lot more living space in that 5-r. What campground did ya park your new toy in?

If you ever get the urge to take your Open Range out for camping, check in the North Central Forum for campouts. Our regional group often posts there whereabouts there & we'd love to have you join us sometime.

Hi Lori,
Yes, we are very close. I am on the Olentangy side of Westerville so very close to Lewis Center Road. I have a permanent spot at Cross Creek right across from the Pavillion. Have been camping there for 3 years. I have great camping neighbors and yes I do love the extra room in the 5th wheel. Look forward to having you drop by if your ever at the creek. I know it gets busy during holiday weekends but generally a great place.

We've been to Cross Creek, it's very nice. They've done alot to expand it with the new sites to the right of the entrance & the ones along the north side. It, like Delaware & Alum Creek SP's are so close to home for us we don't go very often. It's like why spend the money on gas & site fees when my home is nearby? Still, it's nice to get away. I hope we meet up sometime.

Thanks for the posts so nice to see more Buckeyes on the post. This has been the first summer that I am looking forward to fall. Just a cool night with a campfire. It has been so hot! If any of you are near cross creek look for us.
