Hello to all fellow RVers,

Have been Rving since 2008 and now looking to take a trip out west. Possibly somebody on this site would like to join. Retired in 2007 and have had a great time with traveling the east coast. Spent 40 years in the automotive business so somewhat familiar with the mechanics of these big rigs. look forward to hearing from the fellow members.

Hi John,

We have only been RV'ing, since 2007, since we retired. However, we have been "out west" 3 times, since we started. I just want to say that the most rewarding trip was with the "Good Sam Caravan" trip, to see the "Western National Parks". We signed up and were scheduled to meet the group, in Cody Wyoming, in July of 2009. What a trip! There were about 18 Rv's in our group, plus the "Wagonmaster" and the "Tailgunner". We saw Yellowstone, the Grand Tetons, Zion nat'l Park, the Grand Canyons and several other national parks. Heading to Cody, we also stopped at "Mount Rushmore" and "Custer Nat'l Park", in Rapid City, SD. We were on the tour, for over a month and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were gone from home, in the Tampa area, for about 3 months! If you haven't been on any RV tours, I would highly recommend it!

Hi John & Robbie,
I don't know if we can go with you, would sure like to, but if you're heading west on I-10 stop by and give a buzz and we'll get together for a little bite to eat and something to wash it down with.

When my husband was alive, we used to travel out to the coast every summer in our motorhome. Such great memories.

Last spring I traveled solo with my pup out to the coast and revisited some places we had been and found new ones. Had an incredible time.

If you can't find anyone to "go with you", don't let it stop you from the joys of traveling. I'll never forget any of my trips with my husband and pups, or this past one, either. I sure wish I was taking off, again, in the spring. Go for it.
