Thursday we'll trade in our 2002 Winnebago 27A on a new Damon Challenger 377. I've got a good checklist for the delivery inspection. Any good tips from the 'old-timers'? I know I'll need to look into getting tire-valve extensions for the inner tires.

Our three dogs, each a rescued Keeshond, already know what we mean when we say: "Want to go to the doghouse?" They love the travelling. Illinois plates are "DOGHOWZ."

See you "out there."

Paul

Well, drove the Challenger up from Park Forest IL to Wauconda IL, about 85 miles, and towed the Mini Cooper back home. I didn't really feel much difference in handling the MH on the way back but I am now researching what supplemental brake system I know that I should add. Something like "Brake Even" I think.

All goes well with the Challenger 377, no remarkable problems except one of the basement door supports broke loose from the pop rivets attaching it. Doesn't look like too much of a problem to fix, four bolts should do it.

Look for "DOGHOWZ" to be on the road as soon as it stops snowing here in Chicagoland.

Paul
