New Member New Horizons
Looking forward to getting started. Looking at a New Horizons purchase and have not made the mind up yet whether to go with Summit or Majestic. We are planning on RV'ing about 6 month traveling and 6 mos with sons and grandsons. We will travel with them during our stay in their area. Have planned a Ford F350 diesel and have my first question. Do I need a dually. RV weighs around 24,000 pounds loaded. We are selling both cars and using the 350 for sole transportation as we RV fulltime. Would be great to here from anyone. We both are retired farmer/educators/contractors. I also spent time in the Marine Corps during Vietnam Crisis. Started at Baylor University and finished at University of Texas with my degree in Math/Physics. We have been married 50 years and selling our large beautiful home of 40 years and start Rv'ing to travel and keep up with the family.

Welcome to the forum. Absolutely need a dually for a rig that heavy. I have a SRW but only pull a 13,000 pound fiver, loaded.
Enjoy your journey. Vietnam vet, Army Airborne Ranger.
