New Member...New RV'er

We just purchased a pre-owned 1995 Bounder J30 34' with no slide-outs.

Our goal is to try-out RVing with a low entry cost to see if we like it before jumping in with both feet and getting something newer and either smaller or similar in size with slide-outs and a pusher etc.

We have twin 16 y/o boys and we want to spend as much time with them as possible before they get girl friends and go off to college. Afterward, when we are empty-nesters, we hope to travel to our son's football games and their wrestling tournaments as well as just take in as much of America as we can and have fun doing it.

We have a lot to learn and the coach, while it's in excellent condition, it needs some updating and maintenance on little things which I look forward to doing.

The first of which is to fix the right passenger and left driver's side windows whereas the seals have failed between the double pains and it is a tad foggy and as I understand that it may cause a safety issue regarding visibility and seeing mirrors etc.

If anyone has any information on what materials (i.e. gasket, sealer etc.) to use I would appreciate it. I'm a pretty hands-on kinda guy and will be doing this myself. I have been in touch with David Root in Oregon and want to see what else may be available before making that investment.

Thanks in advance as I have a great deal to learn and I look forward to learning from those who have the experience and care to share it!
