Smile New Member, Newbie, New 232RBS pending?

Hi Everyone, We are trying to get ready for our first ever 5th Wheel purchase and plan to make it an EverLite 232RBS. We are going over forums with fine tooth to try to get up to speed without a crash and burn. So I am making a list of things to check on the walk through before signing any papers and documenting the wonderful nuggets of wisdom from this great group. After reading postings since last night, I am a tad concerned about our choice of 5th wheel but still hoping forewarned is forearmed.

We expect to make the purchase within the next two weeks having found a new 2015 232RBS. We plan to make 1-2 week trips this summer as we ramp up to 1-3 month trips in the future.

All advice is welcome. Walk through advice/list is cherished. And if there is a comparable alternative to the EverLite 232RBS, we would like to know.

We have length consideration due to terrain challenges here on our WV farm.

Thank You!

Hi Beth

Glad to have you here with us. Take your time on your walk through. Take notes so you can reference them later. If you have a video recording device, record the walk through. You will surely forget how to do something and the video will help remind you how it's done.

Best of luck and Happy Trails!!!

Hello and welcome to the forum from South Central Kentucky. Ditto on paying attention on the walk through. I keep a notebook in the camper for checklists and notes on things I forgot on the last trip. I also keep a log of maintenance and notes on the campsites and dates visited. Once you've made a few trips you will be less forgetful and your condo on wheels will be equipped. Enjoy.

Question thank You

Thank you for welcoming us!

We are in the excited yet leery stage. We know we will have problems but hope we can handle them and still have fun. We have not met the dealership selling us the RV we have chosen yet. I am hoping they are great and their follow-up too.

Any advice on dealing with dealerships???

You might look at this blog, RV Travel Checklists - -it has lots of checklists that might be helpful to you. They were for me.
Good luck and enjoy.
