New member on the cusp of full timing
Hey everyone,
Good to be here! This looks like a great community, and my wife and I are eager to get acquainted.
We are on the cusp of jumping in head first and becoming full timers for a one year commitment (at least).
We're doing as much research as possible, but we still have a lot of questions.
Currently we're debating between a used class C and using our Kia Soul as a toad, or selling our two cars and buying a truck and a decent sized travel trailer (non fifth wheel). Right now I'm leaning towards the class C for its conveniences and added storage space, but if I were to post this 10 minutes from now I may say something different.
Another option would be a used, less expensive class A, but I imagine we could get a better class C for the same money as a lesser class A.
Must haves are a U-shaped dinette, oven, and at least one slide out.
Living with less is something we know we can do. We have a lot of stuff we don't need and don't use. As Tyler Durden says, "The things you own end up owning you".

Give some thought to a Class A coach. More carrying capacity and more cargo capacity. Little price difference between class A or C.

Hi 
We're a year and 3 months fulltiming now, and loving it, and we'd definitely recommend A class, more space, more storage inside and out and better views, you just can't beat the A class windshield.

The answer is, there is no best answer. It's hard to tell from the way you present your full timing. Is that, most likely, a year or two time out or is it a year or two to test the life style for a more lengthy time?

Are you new to the IRV2 forum, or are you new to "RVING". ?? If new to RVING, then jumping in head first will take a lot of research.[ and intestinal fortitude],... This IRV2 forum will help in making decisions. Good luck, don't let a few mistakes disappoint you. You will have to test drive both class A & C, just to see how they "fit". And, of coarse, how to back a trailer into a "spot". Which ever is comfortable, feels best, gives you confidence, will help you decide ..
