Hi Mike and Family,
Congratulations on the new rig and welcome to the Forum! She's a beauty and these older rigs were made to last. You are right, there is a lot of good information here just for the asking or looking.
Use the "Search" spot to look something up or just go in and read old threads. They have a lot of info you will need sooner or later. Assuming this is brand new to you, I am going to give you some of the advice we received that worked great for us.
Water pressure regulator and in line water filter. Get them, Walmart type store. CG's (campgrounds) can have high water pressure and it can damage your plumbing in your rig and you don't want that. The filter is because the water is not always the cleanest either.
We also learned recently that there can be a bit of bacteria in CG water lines so when not camping drain the water out of your water heater. They all have valves or screws that can be opened to do this and it will save you some hassles. The bacteria builds in the water heater and makes a real NASTY smell. Draining it between camping trips avoids this.
Good luck and have a blast with your rig. Lynne
Sick of the cold and snow already!
