New member, So. Cal.

Good morning. This is Steve & Patty. We've been in a class "A" since about 2004. And before that a bumper pull TT. Our first class "A" was a 1990 Bounder 31', 454/TH400. We recently purchased a 2004 Winnebageo Sighteer 27', Workhorse 8.1/4L85 trans. I love big block Chevys.

Anyhow, we're new to iRV2 and are looking forward to enjoying this forum.
I've been fixing a few things on the Moho and do have some questions and will be thankful for answers.

Have a great day RVers!

Steve.

Steve, hope that the dry conditions in SoCA. doesn't keep you from getting out and enjoying your coach.
Safe Travels

EDIT: Are your sure about your trans numbers , I thought you should have a Allison 1000 series?

You'll enjoy the help from the members when you need it. Enjoy the group and good luck with your coach. The 8.1 is a great engine.

Thanks for the welcomes.
Skip426, from what I got off the VIN it indicates that it has the 4L85 trans. But I will check again to make sure.
And I will RV in just about any kind of weather.

To Skip426. Good morning, when I wired in my brake controller, I also creeped under it front to back. The casting on the trans reads Hydra-Matic, P/N 24208421. No castings with Allison and no external filters. At work, I operate a Gradall XL5100 w/the M/B diesel and 6sp Allison behind it.
And on a side note, all that yellow wiring was, um, "a learning experience" to say the least.
