No I am no relation to Clair DeLune, as a matter of fact if I am not mistaken there is no such person. If I am wrong I do apologize. Clair DeLune means moonlight in French and Fleurdalune mean moonflower in French. There are several poems;starting from 1639; written by french poets and it is also the third movement of Claude Debussy's 'Suite Bergamasque.
They are both beautiful french terms. My daughter penned my name because in my college days I was called "Moonflower" Yes I am that old, it was the 60's...... late 60's I may add LOL.

Clair DeLune is one of my musical favorites and I thought of it the instant I saw your name. So I couldn't resist the temptation to ask a silly question. I grew up with a musical background and in my day the schools had music education where we listened to classical music (late 50'sm early 60's). I believe we still need the arts taught at school.

Moonflower.....Hmmm are you familiar with the governor of my state...Moonbeam?
