Hello, I'm Sheryn Ward and my husband & myself live in Shelby, NC. We're from Iowa but we relocated to NC 4 1/2 yrs ago. I'm still reserving my opinion as to whether or not this was a good idea. All comments, suggestions and emails are welcome !
PS...we're also chapter officers of the only Newmar Kountry Klub organization in NC. (for Newmar RV owners)

Welcome to the forum Sheryn! We spent a month in NC (near Asheville) earlier this year. Some really pretty country out there.

I'm sure you'll find a wealth of information and some good, friendly discussion here.

Love your part of the country.

We'll be in Marion NC about a month from now to pick up our new rig. We'll then head to our RV property in SC to 'break it in'.

You might want to give 'ou'r park a try sometime, it's not far from you and it is beautiful. Ours is lot 61.

Monroes....Thanks for the information regarding your RV Park. I looked at it online and fell in love with it. It looks beautiful. I think you'll enjoy your new coach. We have friends that have a Revolution and another couple that have a Tiffin Allegro Bus. Both are great coaches !

G'morning Sheryn!!

Hi from Sedona, AZ. and a BIG WELCOME to the iRV2 gang.

Wife, Lynette, and I have been on the road full time since 05 and have just arrived here in AZ after attending the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta with the NKK (Newmar Kountry Klub) bunch. WHAT a thrilling experience. Didn't think it would be that exciting, but....it was way more than expected and we're glad we did.

We sure like your area of the country as well. Have stayed in Asheville, Townsend, TN, and really enjoyed James Is. Park in Charleston, S.C, on the coast.

Hope to meet ya sometime down the road, and, again, A BIG WELCOME.

Oh!.....you've likely already found it, but if not,...check out the NKK site atop the Newmar Owners section further down the main directory page here on iRV2. It was recently improved to permit NKK forum discussion among NKK members and along with the Newmar Owners section is a GREAT place overall.

Steve & Lynette - Thanks for the reminder about the NKK site. I signed up in the Newmar Owners Club but forgot to look for the NKK site. Both my husband (Dennis) and I are chapter officers of the only NKK chapter in NC. I'm president & he is the secretary. We just returned last week from a Region 5 rally at James Island, SC. You're right, it's a beautiful site, but always raining when we are there. If you get to our part of NC or close by, look us up, we'll be happy to provide a stopover site with full hookup on our property.
