Hello all,

I've had my 22' Nomad travel trailer a little over a year now and have learned alot. My wife and I enjoy it. Nevertheless, I'm glad I know a little something about ac/dc systems (troubleshooting), as I've already had to replace my house batteries.

Also, I added a battery cut-off switch a stand-alone group 27 deep cycle battery that sits in a battery box on the floor under my dinning room table. I have it connected to a 600 watt pure sign inverter that runs our TV and charges our electronics which saves my house batteries. The best part, however, is that it powers our 5-cup coffee maker. A great advantage as I don't have to go out in the morning to fire-up the generator for a cup of coffee!

Take Care,

Welcome to iRV2. We are glad you found us. I believe when we get into owning campers we start out on a learning curve about most aspects of maintenance on these things. I know I am still learning. Post often and share your camping experiences with us. Browse the forums that interest you and don't be afraid to ask questions.
