New member wentzville mo!!

Thanks for accepting me to your forum. Last year, my wife and I purchased our first travel trailer, a 1998 skyline nomad. By no means is it new, shiny, or fancy, but it's in great solid shape and we are so excited to get in to the world of camping with a bed! So be ready for some newbie questions because our maiden voyage is in just a couple weeks on Memorial Day weekend. Thanks everyone!Click image for larger version

Looks in great shape. I will be in your area at the end of the month boondocking in daughters driveway. We usually stay at Cuivre River State Park but they are full that weekend. Enjoy your TT

Dan,

Looks like a nice rig, thanks for the pictures. I have a 2000 rig and people can't guess it's age. A little detailing and personalizing, people will never know what you have either. Actually you will find that people care less about what you have and more about the stories and memories. Enjoy your new rig and welcome.

Glad to see the LOU represented by such classy people! Missouri offers such great camping scenery. We used to travel to Mark Twain Lake often for a great experience. If this friggen rain doesn't stop soon, I might regret not buying a boat!

Enjoy your new rig. Once you start it is hard to stop. I lived in wentzville for 22 years. Retired and went full time in our rig.

Take care

Having a great trip!! Didn't dewinterize well so our water is stinky.... a job for when we get home... but overall a great shakedown trip. Made a list of other stuff to get that we hadn't already thought of.

Thanks! I love wentzville. Only lived here for a few years and have quite a few more before retiring, but I think I have the wife talked into a class a as a retirement gift!
