Hi I'm about to take possession of a vintage Camp Mate trailer. While in fair condition it needs a lot of work to make wife friendly. I hope to find a lot of hints and help on my winter project. Thank you in advance.

We love to see them...

Wow- it looks like it's in pretty good shape!
A little elbow grease on the dirt will work wonders...
How's the inside?
Any leaks, perhaps the thing we all dread the most?
And did you get working appliances, too?
I think yes there might be a leak in the front saw a water stain on the ceiling but won't be able to tell until I can move it to my place. A small snafu in finding the title and the vin number tag is missing. Know where the vin number is though just have to get from another person who was going to take it but his wife wouldn't let him. So now I have to run all over LI to to bring everything together. Was told that everything work when his Aunt and uncle stop using it in the 90's. But it has been sitting for a long time.

Welcome! Good luck with your "winter project". Hopefully you won't run into many repairs with it. I'm sure if you have questions someone will be able to help you out.

To anyone that cares.
I'm one step closer to my trailer I have the necessary paper work and all I have to do is help my friend get a new title then I can register in my name and start to work on it. My kids are out of their minds about the trailer and can't wait till daddy brings it home. One sad note I have to sell my 1977 VW Bus. Wife happy about that but I'll use some of the money from the sale of it to fund the rehab of the trailer. I know I'm babbling but I am as excited as my kids.

I'll bet you're excited!
I hope we'll see lots of pics as you re-do whatever needs re-done...
But let's hope it's minimal!
From the pics so far, it looks like mostly cleanup.
I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you!
