New member with Bay star 3401

Hi everyone. I've been lurking here while and information gleaned helped with my choice of MH, accessories, and even toilet paper. There is a ton of great information available here - thanks to all the posters that helped me out without even knowing it.

I retired from the USAF in 1997 and worked in IT for my second career until January 2016 and retired for good. I'm still in the house and will stay a couple of years and then probably go full time.

I picked the Newmar mostly because it just felt the best for what I needed. I had a deposit on a used 39 ft DP which I won't name and I'm glad I went with the Newmar. I'd say you get what you pay for! The Bay star rides better and is much quieter than the DP was - except under full throttle of course. The Ford engine make adequate power for me and even under load isn't all that loud. Overall, I love the new coach.
