New motor home owners

Hello,

My sister and I are new to traveling in a class A motor home; we recently purchased a 28' Tiffin Allegro. For the last 20 years, we have traveled in a home-built pop-top camper that rode on a Mazda B22 pickup. We are now in our 70s and we decided that a motor home would be more comfortable than the camper. Besides, the Mazda PU finally gave out.

We are happy to find this site and I think we will learn much from this group.

Heather and Lisa

Welcome to the forum. I'm sure the larger space is welcomed. Good luck with your new rig. Safe and trouble free travels.

Thank you. It will take a bit of time to get used to driving the larger rig, but the space will be welcome.

Welcome! You will love the information available here. I have had a class A for over 10 yrs and still learn new stuff all the time. My friend and I travel together a lot - we each have our own MH and sometimes I have someone with me.
Good luck in your travels!
Darlene

Hello Heather and Lisa!!

Are you Henson/Muppet fans? My mother decorated an entire room in Miss Piggy but my favorite of Jim Hensons' puppets was Cantus, followed closely by Kermit and Animal.

We are new to Rving and hope to take the first shake down trip in ours in a couple more weeks.

Lisa and I like the Muppets, but not to the extent of your mother. We are, however, going to place a Miss Piggy decal on our motor home.

My sister and I are planning on taking our first real trip as soon as I can get away and the weather is cooler. We would like to go to Vancouver, across Canada to Jasper, down to Yellowstone, and then back to
California. I made that trip with my son the year he graduated from high school, but in a small pickup camper.

I wish you a good time on your shake down trip.

Hi Swansonia,

I'm so new to the group, I have no idea how to get the "Tiffin Owners Club" underneath the avatar. I have a lot to learn.

Just to introduce myself, I am new to RVing and have a 24 ft Fleetwood Tioga diesel 2011. It's just me and the Rotty. So far have been to the Florida Keys, Montauk Long Island and now the woods of Maine. Love this site and it's only been 2 days but the info and the quick answer to my question was great. Hi to everyone.
