new motorhome owner
I recently went from a 28'pull trailer to a 31'winnebago class c minie. Trailer was nearing the end of its pulling life..needs to be parked. While we had not decided, we came across a 2000 minnie with only 27000 miles on it and an interior that looks new. Unfortunately, I did not take into consideration the fact it had not been driven in a few years. Finding things like hoses and belts need replacing, along with general maintenance. Jury is till out on mh vs trailer. Hope to learn a lot here.

Welcome and enjoy the New to you Motorhome. It is always an issue having one that was sitting for a few years. Our first was a 1989 Foretravel that was sitting for 12 years. Lots to fix and repair over time. But turned out to be an awesome home. (we are fulltimers)

Congratulations on the new MH. Will take some work but you will find it satisfying when you get it going, espececially if you are able to do some of the work yourself.
Enjoy yourself. Wave as you pass by. We will recognize you by the grin.

Welcome! You're going to love it hete!
We recently went from a pop-up to a really nice
'88 27' Mallard! A lot different! But sooo much nicer! Just pull in, plug in, and put the awning up = done with the set up!

Welcome to the gang and congrats on your new Winnebago wheels. You came to the right place to find answers and support as you move forward with updates.
Folks here have been very helpful to us. You can use the search options (usually the top right section of the forum pages) and the Owners Forums for Winnebago. But sometimes I just browse the wide range of topics. I've learned a lot here about everything from tire safety to toads. Best of luck to ya as you continue with updates and test out your modifications.

Welcome to the Forum. We went from a trailer to a fifth wheel and finally bought our MH - Dutch Star DP. We were a little nervous about driving it
but that changed pretty quickly and I would never go back to towing a TT or Fifth wheel.
Best of luck.
Happy RV'ing
