I would have tried it outside the dealer for a couple of days. Things like turn on the AC even if it is cold then alternate and turn on the furnace to make them compete with each other. Also run lots of hot water with both the pump and a city hookup. Try the fans lots, the stove etc. The more they are used the better they run.

Exactly

Thanks..that's exactly what we did...just a little disappointed in the dealer who delayed pick up for a week so that they could thoroughly check out the rig. I believed...My bad...however, dealer is picking up some of our extra fuel and overnight expenses

Woo-Hoo, welcome. Happy travels to you and enjoy your rig. If you ever pass through CA send a wave out.

Unhappy Need an Inspection

This website is so extensive I have no idea where I go to get this question answered. I hope you don't take this as an intrusion.

My wife and I are seriously looking at a motorhome in Flagstaff, AZ. We live in Grand Rapids, Michigan and can't get away for more than one day.

My question is: who can I contact that will inspect this motorhome for me? Would a dealership in Flagstaff have qualified people that can and will do this?

Any help, advice or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Bruce and Janet

Smile RV Inspection

Per your suggestion, I gave these people a call. I'm impressed. A lot of good information about the inspection, about how to go about purchasing, and even an agreement form. I am slowly becoming more comfortable purchasing a used Motorhome.

I can't imagine what people did years ago. There is soooo much information out there, that there is no excuse for not knowing what to do.

We are getting excited!!!

Again, many thanks.

...follow up...repicked up new Ventana 3436 now with a new rear a/c. Dealer went over above to make up with good customer service. It is appreciated. Hope the weather holds so we can get out and enjoy our new rig
